Stewart Adds Cindy Hoffman as Senior Project Manager of Landscape Architecture in Durham


DURHAM, N.C. – Stewart, an interdisciplinary design, engineering, and planning company, announced today Cindy Hoffman, PLA, ASLA, is linking its landscape design group as senior project director for the Durham office.

Hoffman is a creative and award-winning landscape architect and land planner with more than twenty decades of expertise in varied, complicated, multidisciplinary designs for public and private customers.

“Cindy brings valued expertise to our studio as a senior project manager,” stated Michael Batts, vice president and practice leader of landscape structure at Stewart. “Her broad experience in the region helps us to continue providing design excellence on a wide range of project types. Also, her knowledge and expertise allow her to serve as a mentor to our passionate design staff.”

Working from Stewart’s Durham workplace, Hoffman will assume a leadership role, overseeing design project management and company development/client relations while working with Stewart’s interdisciplinary clinic places on complicated projects.

With two years of expertise in landscape design, Hoffman can help Stewart navigate entitlement procedures, ensuring creative layouts turned into a reality. She will be able a multipronged strategy to market industry standards, such as maintaining connections with jurisdictional employees, encouraging customer retention, and raising the practice’s involvement with business groups.

Hoffman holds a bachelor of environmental design in landscape design in the North Carolina State University College of Design. She is a part of American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), North Carolina ASLA, as well as the Urban Land Institute (ULI). She is the recipient of many awards for multiples jobs, such as its Downtown Raleigh Alliance 2018 Imprint Award for the Albemarle Building renovation.
