The jury is in. The great outside is your brand new American living area, along with the five winners of the next yearly landscape design contest invite one to come in, look around, and delight in the sublime comfort of our natural environs. From a calm West Hollywood hideaway into some romantic meadow at Connecticut, those gardens gathered glistening accolades from our judges, interior designer Bunny Williams and also Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) president Peter Lyden, and direct the way within our march back to character.

“We have to work with the natural environment, which is what really unifies these gardens. They each create natural extensions of houses, hillsides, vegetation, and waterfronts,” states Peter Lyden, president of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA). “Their designers worked with materials so organically, and the results are just beautiful.”
