Guided Walking Tour: 10-11 am. Feb. 27, Myriad Botanical Gardens, 301 W Reno Ave. Free, but enrollment required in www.myriadgardens.com. Meet in South Lobby Visitor Center. Geared toward adults; kids and leashed dogs welcome. Expand your understanding of Oklahoma plants and find inspiration for your own backyard.

Workshops

Seed Starting Workshop: 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 20, Myriad Botanical Gardens, The Garden Classroom, 301 W Reno Ave. Brad Fowler, horticulturist, will instruct how to develop annual flowers, native perennials, vegetables and fruits from seed, and methods for potting, watering and light. Cost: $15 for members, $20 for nonmembers. Masks and social bookmarking mandatory. Register by Wednesday in www.myriadgardens.org

Greenhouse Construction & Operation: 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 28, Will Rogers Exhibition Center, 3400 NW 36. Michael Friday will present advice on preparation, structure and operation-maintenance of a hobbyist greenhouse. Age 18+. Cost $5. Register at www. )OKCparks. )gov, Event ID: 35870.
