CHICKENS were stolen by a rear garden in North Berwick.
It was reported to authorities that, sometime immediately on January 4, the hens were shot out of a locked pen that has been at the rear garden of a house on Lochbridge Road.
Details of the episode were shot and enquiries to the theft are continuing.
